Resources will point you in the directions of where you can gather further information and develop professionally. These venture outside of entrepreneurship and more broadly into the coaching and mentoring, but of course you can bring back knowledge and insights that you apply to your practices with entrepreneurs. The Coaching Crowd podcast
This is a weekly podcast about coaching practices host by Zoe Hawkins and Jo Wheatley, Founders of Global Coaching Training Company. They cover a range of topics from notetaking to talkative clients. See resource
Trillion Dollar Coach
This book explains the coaching principles of Bill Campbell, who passed away in 2016. He played a key role in the growth of companies such as Apple, Google and Intuit. The book provides Bill Campbell’s principles based on stories from those he worked with. See resource
Co-active Coaching
This book takes a slightly different approach to coaching in that while it agrees that coaching will help solve problems and achieve goals, the co-active approach is more about discovery, awareness and choice. That is, effectively empowering people to find their own answers through a combination of relationship and action, which is co-active coaching. See resource
The Coaching Podcast
This podcast brings insights from sports and business into coaching. The podcast has a clear format with questions such as ‘ask us a question,’ which allows coaches to share what is most insightful for them when they ask coaches. The lengths range in from as little as 4 and up to about 30 minutes, so it’s in easily digestible chunks. See resource

This is an easy and practical read that takes you through a series of 7 essential questions you can ask during your coaching interactions to make them more useful. See resource
The Playbook A Coach’s Rules for Life
This is a Netflix (2020) series with coaches such as Patrick Mouratoglou (tennis coach for Serena Williams), Jose Mourinho (football coach) and Dawn Staley (basketball coach) sharing insights on how they coached their teams to success. The coaches share their methods and experiences, so this provides good inspiration for techniques you might like to try. See resource
Coaching for Performance The Principles and Practice of Coaching and Leadership by Sir John Whitmore
This is one of ‘the’ books in the coaching world, with the well-known GROW model for coaching (goal, reality, options, will). As well as GROW, the book provides a great introduction to coaching principles, as well as the benefits and ROI (return on investment) of coaching. See resource
